Web and E-Commerce Site Application Development

We create custom, database-driven web applications using Adobe ColdFusion Application Server, PHP,  JavaScript (AJAX and jQuery), Ruby, XML and XSLT. We mix and match those application programming languages with various databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Everything we do emphasizes Search Engine Optimization and general web usability. We are big proponents of open-source software applications that can be re-worked to make your site a dazzling success.

WordPress Customization

We’ll take that standard WordPress and turn it into a version that looks nothing like the standard templates. We’ve been using WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS) with excellent results.

Content Management Systems

If you’re project is bigger than WordPress we can implement a Drupal-driven version or even custom code a CMS matching your exact needs.

Responsive Design

It’s the wave of the future (and the future is now).  You’re site needs to work well on the desktop, tablets and mobile smart phones.  Responsive design is what you need and it’s what we do.

Social Media

Need a Facebook app?  We can do that.  Need the new social media darling integrated into your web application? We can do that.

Web Strategy and Marketing

Not sure what your website needs to do? Do you need a Content Management System? Don’t know who your audiences are? We can help you tie all the various pieces (Search Engine Optimization, eCommerce, Content Management, Design) of the web puzzle into a fully functional and attractive interactive presence. That includes html email, Facebook pages, Twitter, Pinterest and more.

Information Architecture and Site Modeling

We completely believe in User-Centered Design (UCD). Your site and ultimately your company cannot be successful unless the users can efficiently get to what they want. By working directly with the users, the best possible combination of navigation, labeling and information design can be implemented. As part of the our Information Architecture services, we do database (ERDs) and site modeling (wireframes).

Requirements Analysis

When a site’s objectives and users are clearly established, the likelihood of a successful implementation dramatically increases. We ask the tough questions and keep asking until every last detail has been ironed out — before any code has been written. Our analysis often leads to very detailed site models, linking directly to the Information Architecture of a site.
